Clif Covington is a Director at Shadmoor Advisors, where he advises institutional clients on operational risk, due diligence, and governance practices. He joined the firm in 2016 as a Consultant and was promoted to Director in 2018.

Prior to Shadmoor, Mr. Covington spent over five years at UBS Investment Bank as an Associate Director in the derivatives documentation group. There, he negotiated complex trading agreements and led initiatives to streamline legal and operational processes within the bank’s global markets division.

Earlier in his career, he held a legal and operations role at WestPoint Home, a consumer products company. During his tenure, he worked closely with executives at Icahn Enterprises on the company’s modernization efforts and helped implement risk management frameworks during a period of strategic transition.

Mr. Covington holds a Bachelor’s degree from Williams College, where he graduated in 2001. He is based in New York City.
