Jean-Francois (J-F) Mauvis joined Shadmoor as Director UK/Europe in July 2025, bringing nearly a decade of specialized experience in operational due diligence, enterprise risk, and investment operations.

Most recently, he was Vice President and Head of Operational Due Diligence at Pantheon Ventures, where he built and led the firm’s global ODD and operational risk frameworks. Prior to that, Mr. Mauvis was Head of Operational Due Diligence at the UK’s Pension Protection Fund, where he also served as interim Head of Investment Risk and contributed to the development of the enterprise risk framework.

Earlier roles include senior consulting at Mercer Sentinel and fund operations leadership positions at Ashmore, Astellon Capital Partners, and Aberdeen Asset Management. He began his career in fund accounting at Citi and Marriott Asset Management.

Mr. Mauvis holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa) and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). He is based in London.
