Michael Merrigan

Founder of Shadmoor

Michael Merrigan is the Founder of Shadmoor Advisors, Inc., established in 2014. Before founding Shadmoor, Mr. Merrigan was a Managing Director at Gottex Fund Management and a member of its Investment Committee. As Global Head of Operational Due Diligence, he led a team across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, overseeing due diligence on more than 150 hedge funds.

Prior to Gottex, Mr. Merrigan launched and led the first in-house operational due diligence program at General Motors Asset Management, one of the world’s largest pension plans. Earlier in his career, he held investment and operational roles at HRJ Capital, Credit Suisse, and GAMCO Investors, with a consistent focus on alternative investments and hedge fund strategies.

Mr. Merrigan is a graduate of Boston College and is based in Southport, Connecticut.
