Mitch Clayton joined Shadmoor as a Director in September 2026. Prior to Shadmoor, Mitch was a Director at The Rohatyn Group (TRG), a global asset manager headquartered in New York City.  Mitch joined TRG in 2019 as Head of Operational Due Diligence on the Global Emerging Markets Multi-Manager team. Later in her tenure at TRG, she served as a Director of Corporate Development and Strategy, with responsibilities including sourcing, relationship management, and due diligence related to prospective asset manager acquisitions across private markets, public markets, and real assets.

Prior to her time at TRG, Mitch held operational due diligence positions at Lazard Asset Management, Duff & Phelps (now Kroll), and UBP Asset Management. She began her career as an equity research analyst at Suffolk Capital Management, where she covered industrials, aerospace, and agriculture.

Mitch earned her B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003. She is a CFA and a CAIA charterholder and has earned the CFA Sustainable Investing Certificate.
